Trifecta of Health – Don’t Forget Your SOUL!

Greetings Earthlings! My day started at 3:50 AM to help my 19 year old son prepare for his colonoscopy exam. First things first, he is ok thank God! He was even able to do a jump-hop-run towards the car afterwards! I on the other hand still feel a bit like a one-eyed alien trying to land my spacecraft in a tornado. See what a lack of sleep will do for you? My day did not stop there… I had an amazing SOUL coaching session followed by a dental check up which was 3 years overdue! I know….

Today really got me thinking about health… We know we should take care of our physical bodies, and mental health has finally been highlighted as well. But what about spiritual health? Couldn’t your SOUL benefit from some TLC too? Absolutely my friend!

Why is your SOUL health important? For starters, it is YOU! It is your light, your essence, your gut, your compass, your guide, basically your true self. It is the only part we take with us after we leave the physical world. If we try our best to keep our physical bodies in check, and get professional help for our minds, why wouldn’t we ask the Universe for some enlightenment from time to time?

How do you know if your SOUL is in need of some help? From my experience, feeling disenchanted without knowing why is typical along with questioning life goals and purpose. Searching the internet for hours is another sign. I can sometimes spend hours searching online for guidance and spirit food. Your soul can also speak through your body through all kinds of aches & pains.

Here are some ideas that can be helpful in soothing the SOUL:

  • PRAY!
  • Learn to meditate by candlelight
  • Take a salt bath while listening to calming music
  • Hold crystals or wear healing bracelets you are drawn to
  • Diffuse essential oils around your home or office
  • Find some online videos on spiritual growth, inspiration, angels…
  • Book a Reiki energy session to unblock your chakras
  • Try tarot and/or oracle cards for empowering messages

There are many other ideas that help your mind, body & soul all at once such as: journaling; being in nature walking, hiking, gardening; singing out loud; being around children and pets, dancing like it’s nobody’s business…

I honestly benefited quite a bit from my Soul Coaching session. It helped validate all the reasons I started my blog in the first place! It also gave me the encouragement that I AM on the right path and to carry on with my dreams. The one piece of advise I was given… To remember to make time for some SOUL THERAPY! Try some today!
